About
Carynne King is the CEO and owner of Alchemy Hair Salon and has worked as a hairstylist in San Diego County for over 20 years. Before becoming a hairstylist, she worked as an educational psychologist for six years, a background she draws on to help clients feel at ease in the chair.
She holds certifications as a Redken Color Specialist and as a Redken Haircolorist and Redken Artist. She has also trained with Toni & Guy, Schwarzkopf, Invisible Bead Extensions and Masters of Balayage, among others, and believes continued education and experience are what make a strong hairstylist.
Her specialties include color correction, blonding, grey blending and extensions, and she focuses on innovative haircut techniques and special color placement. She currently works in the southeast and San Diego regions.
