Carolyn Terry

Carolyn Terry is the owner of Carolyn Terry Skin Care and a licensed esthetician. She has been licensed since 1987 and has nearly 40 years of hands-on work in the treatment room. She has practiced at the Gold Coast location in Chicago for 23 years. Her work centers on skin as it changes after 40, including hydration, texture, tone and firmness. She works mainly with women over 40. Many of her clients have been coming to her for years. Each facial is customized at every visit. She analyzes the skin first, then chooses products, exfoliation and techniques to match a goal, explaining the reason for each. She recommends the 75-minute facial for first-time clients and builds a care plan for afterward. She also writes skincare articles on how skin works, product selection, and adjusting routines when results stop improving.
