About
Carolyn owns Carolyn's Hair Design and works as its stylist. She has worked in the hair industry since 1996 and founded the studio in 2004.
Her training is from the Carsten Institute of Cosmetology. After graduating, she assisted Carsten Wilms for nine months, focusing on French cutting technique. She then spent two years at Oasis Salon in Newport Beach, building a clientele there. Later she served as Salon Manager and Educator at Atlantis Salon & Spa in Arizona, where she developed a training program for beginner stylists.
Her work leans toward European styling and contemporary fashion. She keeps current through industry trade shows and seminars. She listens to clients, and some have been visiting her for many years.
