He owns Carmine's Hair Studio, where his work centers on men's hair replacement. He came to this specialty from barbering and brings years of experience in hair design and styling. His training took place at several centers around the country and included European programs on hair replacement. He is licensed. He is a member of the American Hair Loss Council for Continuous Education. He has also worked to build the skills of other hairstylists. He won a national competition award for a natural-looking men's hair replacement style, and his styling advice has been published in a number of outlets.
