About
Carmen Okpattah owns Velvet Waves Salon and also styles hair there. Her work covers curly hair as well as straight, wavy and in-between textures. She is a former Deva Curl educator and is training as a Sisterlocks trainee. Her ongoing education includes classes on clean beauty and training on Innersense Organic Beauty products, which keep her current on hair care and styling trends. Outside the salon she styles hair for charity events and for photo and commercial shoots. Her aim is to make every client's visit warm and welcoming, so they leave feeling their best.
