Carlyn Rutherford

Carlyn Rutherford works as a certified medical esthetician at ZENA Medical, a dermatology practice in Newport Beach, California. She began working as a licensed medical aesthetician in 2004, and for the past 12 years she has worked alongside dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Her skills cover HydraFacial MD, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microneedling, oxygen treatments and acne facials. She also trains other estheticians and advises practices on product knowledge and ingredient choices for medical skincare. Her own learning continues through time spent shadowing experienced physicians, and she places weight on long-term relationships with her clients.
