Carly Jo

Carly Jo owns Carly Jo Makeup and works as its makeup artist, specializing in wedding makeup and in teaching other makeup artists. She attended a trade school for cosmetology during high school and worked in a salon while still a student. She earned a full license in 2017 and has been providing wedding makeup for about ten years as of 2026. She worked a remote insurance job starting in February 2020 and left that role in 2022 to focus on makeup full time. She takes on smaller wedding parties so each client gets full attention, and her work suits brides who want a more polished version of themselves in a calm, organized setting. She has done wedding makeup for over 250 brides and has provided bridal makeup in Chicago, Indianapolis and Florida. She also teaches artist education, including private lessons, group classes and virtual coaching, and has taught in New York City, Chicago and Denver.
