Carla Welechuk Kowski

Carla Welechuk Kowski is the founder and creative director of Alea Beauty, which she started in Columbus, Ohio, in 2018 after relocating from the West Coast. Her background includes work as a beauty educator for Chanel, as a personal travel artist for celebrities, and as a corporate and personal stylist for Microsoft. She was senior lead artist and general manager at Salon Maison in Seattle, Washington, and has also worked in the industry in Orange County, California. She focuses on the one-on-one relationships she builds with clients and sees beauty and style as forms of self-expression.
