Carla Pressley

Carla Pressley works as a mobile makeup artist and hair stylist and runs her own hair and makeup company. She began her career in the beauty industry over 16 years ago, starting at PR @ Partners, a franchise salon in the Washington DC area, and has since worked with MAC Cosmetics. Makeovers are one of her specialties.

She styles hair and does makeup for location photos, television, production and events. Earlier in her career she could also cut, color, relax and perm hair, though she now mostly focuses on styling and makeup. She trains the artists on her team. The Knot and Wedding Wire chose her as a 2023 Business Mentor, and she was also placed in The Knot's Hall of Fame in 2023. She works with clients of all complexions, hair textures, cultures, genders and backgrounds.
