About
Cara Heym is the aesthetic specialist and owner of Vanity Skin Bar, a business she started in 2021. Her early work was in medical aesthetics at a dermatological surgical center, and she later chose to open a medical spa of her own. Her credentials are BSN, RN and FNP-S. Her bachelor's in nursing (B.S.N.) came from the University of Maryland University College, and she is completing an MSN-AGCNP at Walden University. Since 2019 she has done training through The American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, including advanced-level coursework on neurotoxins, dermal fillers and PDO threads. She holds associate membership with that academy. She was also invited to be a founding member of The Cannabis Spa Association. Her areas of focus are cosmetic injections, chemical peels and non-surgical treatments.
