Candiss Spurlock

Candiss Spurlock owns Braids by Candiss & Co., where she works as master braider. Her career in hair styling spans 23 years, and her work covers every hair type, from extensions to natural hair. Beyond the salon, she works as a celebrity braider and on-set stylist, traveling with a team to film locations across the United States and abroad. Her clients have included NASA executives and scientists, sorority members, comedians, singers, corporate leaders and professional athletes, some of whom fly in for appointments. She also speaks and sits on panels at hair shows across the Southeast, and she developed the Best Dressed Tress hair care line. She shapes each look around the individual features of the client.
