Cain Linville MD

Cain Linville MD is the plastic surgeon at Linville Plastic Surgery in Houston, where he has practiced since July 2015. He is double board-certified, affiliated with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

His training began with a bachelor's in pre-medicine from Lindenwood University and a medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He then worked as a general surgery resident at UTHealth Houston from 2007 to 2012, followed by a plastic surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2015. He trained with some of the world's leading surgeons.

About half of his cases are breast reconstruction. Top oncologists refer patients to him for it, and he coordinates reconstruction plans with each patient's oncologist. He has paid particular attention to helping women after mastectomy and uses nipple-sparing and microsurgical techniques. He also performs breast augmentation, breast revision and body contouring, and he has performed thousands of breast augmentations. Patients travel to Houston from across the United States to see him.

Fat transfer patients are seen right after surgery and several more times during recovery. Major procedures are performed at hospitals or ambulatory surgical centers.
