Bunmi Hintz

Bunmi Hintz works as a stylist at Hintz of Color in Houston. She began working in the beauty industry in January 2011 and completed cosmetology education at Paul Mitchell the School Houston. She also holds a BA in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Houston. Before beauty work she was a marketing manager and office administrator for clinics in Houston, and early on she assisted established stylists in the city. Her specialties are blonding, balayage and creative coloring, hair extensions, and wedding, bridal, prom and special event hair and makeup. She has trained with L'Oreal, Kevin Murphy, Redken and other global brands, and has advanced haircutting training from L'Oreal, Paul Mitchell and Vidal Sassoon. She has also studied under well-known hair artists in Houston. She is certified in smoothing treatments, including Brazilian Blowout and Keratin Complex, and in extension brands including Bellami, Dreamcatchers, Hotheads and Habit Hand-tied Extensions. She has been certified in extension methods since 2013, including Habit Hidden Extensions. Her work also includes high fashion photo shoots, with makeup done for Chloe Dao from Project Runway, and work with models from Neal Hamil for Univision TV. She founded a mobile spray tan business called First Lady Beauty.
