Bryson G. Richards

Bryson G. Richards is the plastic surgeon and medical director at Richards Cosmetic Surgery in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He describes 14 years of education and training at leading plastic surgery centers. He moved to Las Vegas after completing his training to open a practice there.

His path ran through Brigham Young University, where he earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Portuguese in 2004, and Weill Cornell Medical College, where he earned his M.D. in 2008. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 2008 to 2013, serving as chief plastic surgery resident at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. He then completed an aesthetic fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic from 2013 to 2014. During residency he received the Junior Top Gun Award in 2011 and the Senior Top Gun Award in 2012 for the top in-service exam scores among residents, and he received the Joseph M. Serletti Resident Research Award in 2013. He has published research in Aesthetic Surgery Journal on a technique that reduces pain after breast augmentation, has presented at national plastic surgery meetings including on injectables in aesthetic surgery, and volunteered in plastic surgery at Mbale Hospital in Uganda in 2012.

Breast augmentation is a main procedure in his practice. He lets patients feel saline and silicone implants during consultation and chooses implant size from measurements and 3D imaging combined with a sizing system. Together with each patient he decides whether an implant goes above or below the pectoralis major muscle, using textured implants when it sits above the muscle. He also performs neuromodulator injections, drawing on detailed knowledge of facial anatomy, and offers non-invasive and minimally invasive rejuvenation and skin care treatments in the medical spa alongside surgical procedures. He welcomes patients from Arizona, Nevada and California, as well as from other states and countries.
