About
Brigitte trained at Steel Center's cosmetology program, starting at 15, and began working in hair after completing it. She spent 10 years at Stephen Szabo Salon & Spa in McMurray, where she was appointed colorist and held that role for 5 years. She built her color knowledge with independent color classes during that time, and she has owned Soleil Blanc Salon for three years.
Her focus is color: balayage, foil highlights and multidimensional color, with a specialty in natural-looking shades, low-maintenance blondes and red hair. She also cuts hair in the French style. Continuing education has taken her to Boston, New York City, Virginia, Paris, Richmond and other cities.
Clients who want a modern look that is chic and understated are a good match for her work. During a short in-chair consultation she gives suggestions, and she does not touch hair without permission. She does not push rebooking, but she will offer reminders for a next visit if a client would like them.
