Brielle Johnson owns Brielle's Locker, a natural hair salon in Ridgewood, NY, where she also works as lead hairstylist. She is a New York-based natural hair advocate and stylist, with a focus on natural hair. She holds a cosmetology license from Aveda Institute NYC, obtained in 2012, and has studied at The American Barbering Institute NYC. She also completed the African Ancestral Braiding, Locs and Twists training program created by Isis Brantley in Dallas, Texas. Earlier, she worked at Cutler, Hair Rules and DiPietro Todd. She founded Brielle's Locker Outreach, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
