About
Dr. Bri Walton, also known as Briana Walton, is a physician at The Center for Feminine Wellness & Surgery. She holds two board certifications, one in obstetrics and gynecology (FACOG) and one in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (FPMRS), and has worked in these fields for close to two decades. Her practice pairs pelvic reconstructive surgery with intimate aesthetics, the area of procedures meant to enhance the appearance of the female genital organs. Her medical degree came from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, earned between 1995 and 1999. A fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery followed from 1999 to 2002 at Harvard Medical School and Mount Auburn Hospital. From 2015 to 2016 she completed a master's in business of art and design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has directed female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center and directed benign gynecology at Washington Hospital Center. She has held adjunct and assistant professor posts at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Georgetown University School of Medicine, and was recently appointed Associate Chair for Gynecology. Abroad, she has treated victims of trauma and genocide in Ghana, Niger and Rwanda. She co-hosted the hospital television show DocsTalk and has made numerous media appearances. She sits on the board of the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County and belongs to the International Society of Cosmetogynecology, ACOG, the American Urogynecologic Society and the American Medical Association. She received the Anne Arundel Medical Center Medical Staff Excellence Award, was named among the Baltimore Sun 50 Women to Watch, and received an APGO Teaching Award in 2003 and a Counsel on Resident Education in OB-GYN recognition in 2008. She counsels women considering labial repair or hymen restoration. Her work also covers changes from childbearing, constipation, straining and exercise that affect appearance or sexual function.
