About
Brian Maloney founded the practice and performs surgery there. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Kent State University in 1982 and a Doctor of Medicine from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine in 1986. After a general surgery internship, he completed an otolaryngology head and neck surgery residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York. He then trained in facial plastic surgery at the McCollough Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, where the work covered cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on the nose, eyes, face, neck and scalp. Following that fellowship, he entered private practice with McCollough Plastic Surgery Clinic. He has been a clinical associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the UGA School of Medicine since 2025, and he has been affiliated with the AU/UGA Medical Partnership since 2020. He has written more than 80 chapters and articles on facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He also works as a National Trainer for Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox, teaching physicians from around the world. Honors include a Medical College of Georgia Exemplary Teaching Award for the 2015/2016, 2019/2020 and 2024/2025 academic years, recognition as a Top Health, Beauty & Fitness Expert from The Atlantan in 2014, 2015 and 2016, and a listing as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
