Brayden Healey, DO

Brayden Healey, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon who started with Vanguard Skin Specialists in 2024. He sees patients at the Briargate, Pueblo and La Junta locations, performing Mohs micrographic surgery and offering general and surgical dermatology, including skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.

He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Pacific-Northwest osteopathic college of Western University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science from Boise State University. During medical school he was chosen for a one-year teaching fellowship. Following a transitional year at Trinity Health Ann Arbor, he trained in dermatology there, then in a Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology fellowship, serving as the fellowship's sole chief resident in its final year. The practice reports that the Trinity Health Ann Arbor Transitional Year Residency Program named him Resident of the Year in 2020.

He has co-authored medical publications, including case reports and a review of ulcerative dermatologic conditions of the lower extremities. He has also appeared in news coverage on Fox 21 News and KOAA News5 about skin protection and melanoma awareness.
