About
Brandon Kamrava, MD, is a board-eligible facial plastic surgeon in Miami, Florida, whose practice is devoted entirely to facial aesthetics and facial plastic surgery. His training spans otolaryngology–head and neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He holds a bachelor's degree in bioengineering, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He completed an otolaryngology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, then a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship in New York with Steven Pearlman, Neil Gordon and Moustafa Mourad. He was an attending physician in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery at Regional Medical Center in San Jose, California, in 2025–2026. From 2024 to 2025 he served as the academic head of the otolaryngology department at the University of Miami. From 2017 to 2018 he was adjunct faculty at Temple University College of Engineering, teaching an undergraduate biomedical technology course. During medical school he designed a custom 3D-printed middle ear prosthesis for biomedical research and presented it at national conferences; the work was published in Otology & Neurotology and Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He received the Dr. Harold Lamport Prize for Biomedical Research and was named Resident Teacher of the Year during residency. In 2026 he co-authored an expert review of the forehead and brow in Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics. He has written peer-reviewed publications in facial plastic surgery, otology and head and neck oncology, and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His clinical focus includes deep plane facelifts, neck lifts, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, brow lifts, eyelid surgery and facial fat transfer, and he also offers nonsurgical facial treatments. Revision rhinoplasty is a particular interest, including for patients unhappy with an earlier nose operation or dealing with ongoing breathing difficulty. He aims for results that look natural and last, weighing cosmetic refinement against natural function and expression. He often performs laser skin resurfacing himself. After a personalized consultation, he tailors each plan, decides whether neck liposuction, a neck lift or a combined approach suits the patient, and gives detailed postoperative instructions. Patients travel to the practice from around the world.
