Bonnie Sheahan owns La Vie Salon and works there as a haircutter and colorist. She began her hair career in 1999 as a receptionist at a West Seattle salon, then went to beauty school at Gene Juarez Academy after high school, apprenticing in a salon while she studied. She graduated in 2002 and was taking her own clients full-time that year, building a clientele from friends, family, classmates and referrals in West Seattle, and most of those clients have stayed with her from the beginning.
