Bobbi Russell

Bobbi Russell serves as CEO of Hair Therapy for Women, a business she launched in Tampa in 2003. Her cosmetology license dates to 1985, and she has offered hair replacement and extension services since 1987. Her titles include certified trichologist and Certified Hair Replacement Specialist, and she is a Nationally Certified Master Hair Replacement Specialist through the American Hair Loss Council.

She belongs to the American Hair Loss Council and the World Trichology Society. On the National Hair Society's board of directors, she holds the seat for women's hair addition specialists. More than 20 hair extension and hair replacement companies have certified her, and for over two decades she has worked as a national educator and platform artist for large US hair replacement manufacturers. Industry peers describe her as a leading expert in non-surgical hair replacement for women.

Her work includes custom order hair pieces since 2005, research and development help on hair replacement and extension products and attachment methods, and custom human-hair wigs, among them one made for Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan. For many years she has been a featured guest speaker at the Premiere Hair Show in Orlando. Her writing has appeared in Modern Salon Magazine and the National Hair Journal, where she is a frequent contributor. She has also appeared on local and national television as an expert, including The Doctors.
