Bhavna Naik

Bhavna Naik owns Bhavna's Henna & Arts and works as its henna artist. She has made henna a full-time profession since 2012, and bridal henna is her main focus, with bride galleries listed from 2012 through 2026.

She offers a consultation with brides, often by Zoom, before the henna day. Long applications are made more comfortable with cushions and heaters, and every bride receives an aftercare kit and instructions. She also applies belly blessing henna at a client's home or at her home in Clarksburg.

She teaches henna workshops, private lessons and conference classes. She gives step-by-step instruction and feedback to students, including in a group chat for workshop students. Conference teaching includes bridal layout at The Henna Society annual conference in Windsor Locks, Connecticut in November 2017; bridal figures, critical thinking in design, bridal kit setup and process, and peacocks at Spring Fling in Oakland, California in February 2018; fills, shapes, reverse negative, texture and design critique at Spring Fling in Oakland in February 2019; and figures, design critique and bridal setup at Spring Fling in Hayward, California in February 2020. She also taught bridal layout, peacocks and the business side of bridal henna at Polar Sling in Minnesota in November 2018, and a session on bridal feet at the virtual Spring Fling in February 2021.
