Betsy Briggs leads BBC Nashville Salon as founder and CEO and holds the Master Elite Artist title. She has worked in beauty for more than 32 years and opened the salon about 19 years ago. Her early career was in the talent world, where she served as a talent agent, represented photographers, worked on talent convention staff and did hair and makeup. Over the years she has worked on shoots with photographers, models and stylists such as Bebe Buell, Emily Sandberg, Binx and Kim Vo. Her photographs have run in Vogue Italia, Nfocus, Nashville Scene, HER, Southern Weddings, Nashville Post and Mocha Magazine. She has also created promotional campaigns for national brands including Toyota and Budweiser, and worked as a crew member on video shoots for Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and the Mavericks. Her work has reached national audiences through magazine editorials, videos, commercials and advertising campaigns. Her clientele is varied. She trained at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and at cosmetology school.
