Bethany Kay

Bethany Kay is a licensed cosmetologist and hairstylist at Bethany Kay Hair Studio in Suite 18 of Vesper Salon Studios in Parker. She has been licensed since 2004, when she also began working at The Loft Salon in Parker, and she has been doing hair for more than half of her life.

She trained at Littleton Beauty College from 2003 to 2004 and has since completed hair extension classes at Regis Hair Extension, color technique classes, and color specialist and advanced color training at Regis Salon. She also completed L'Anza training in color and hair care products from 2015 to 2022. Her career has taken her through Regis Salon in Littleton, Rebecca j's in Parker, where she became salon manager in 2009, and Sahair Salon & Spa in Parker, where she was marketing manager from 2015 to 2016. She ran her own suite at Sola Salon Suites from 2016 to 2018, then worked at Beauty Tribe from 2018 until 2026, and she has been based at Vesper Salon Studios since 2026.

Her focus is balayage and ombre, which she paints by hand, along with blonde hair, fashion colors in bright and unusual shades, hair extensions including rainbow styles, and updos for prom, homecoming and other special occasions. She can recreate a cut from a client's photo and will say when a cut may not suit a client's hair or the upkeep they want. She trims to the length a client asks for, cutting every strand so the cut stays symmetrical. She was named Best of the Best in Colorado Community Newspaper voting each year from 2013 to 2022, Top Extensions Specialist in the Western United States by Regis Salon, and Top Stylist for CAD week at Regis Salon in Littleton.
