Benjamin Mohapi

Benjamin Mohapi is the founder of BENJAMIN and the salon. He started out working as a stylist in leading UK salons, including those of John Frieda, Nicky Clarke and Daniel Galvin, before moving into fashion work and assisting major names in the industry while building his own creative vision. Around age 22 he left salon work to become a session stylist on set, and he has since worked with photographers Rankin, David LaChapelle and the late Herb Ritts. His editorial and fashion credits include Vogue, ID, Nylon, GQ and Marie Claire. He also founded a London-based hair, beauty and styling agency, which operated for almost 10 years. His distinctive style of hairdressing continues to define the brand he built.
