Benjamin Lam

Benjamin Lam is Medical Director of Strella Medical Aesthetics, a medical spa in Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. He holds a D.O. degree and the F.A.C.O.S. and F.A.C.S. designations, and is double board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and is a former president of the osteopathic college's Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Section.

He began with an undergraduate degree in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, then earned a medical degree at Des Moines University. Anesthesia training took place at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, general surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan and at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, and plastic and reconstructive surgery training at PCOM. He now directs the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship and is a clinical professor at PCOM. Nearly two decades of training and practice stand behind his work.

His known work includes facial rejuvenation, breast surgery and body contouring. Surgeons across the country have adopted his procedures and techniques, and his technological advances are registered with the United States Patent Office. He also speaks nationally and has published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
