About
Benjamin Eskenazi, MD, FACS, is the founder and medical director of Avabello Aesthetics. He works as a plastic surgeon and directly oversees the med spa's treatments, including IV and vitamin infusion therapy. He holds dual board certifications in general surgery and plastic surgery, from the American Board of Plastic Surgery (2018) and the American Board of Surgery (2015), and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine, completed a general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and trained in a plastic surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. That fellowship covered complex facial reconstruction, face transplant care, aesthetic surgery and microsurgical techniques. He has cared for face transplant recipients and has more than 11 years of plastic surgery experience. He has performed more than 10,000 facial plastic surgery procedures.
His focus areas include facial plastic surgery such as deep plane facelifts and eyelid surgery, facial reconstruction after skin cancer surgery, neurotoxin and filler injections, body contouring, breast surgery covering both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, and laser and skin rejuvenation, including regenerative treatments. He is also a published researcher, with work in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Clinical Breast Cancer, and has been featured in Bella Magazine, Aventura Magazine, NBC South Florida and Daily Mail.
He is active in medical education and industry. He headlined the Evolus Evolution Tour in 2023, has taught more than 1,000 aesthetic providers and led more than 80 cadaver labs, and serves as a key opinion leader and advisory board lead for aesthetic companies. He consulted on filler complications for the launch of the EVOLYSSE line and is on the faculty of the 2026 IAFA Aesthetic Symposium. He is an early adopter of AI in medical aesthetics. Dish Miami has recognized him as a Miami Best Plastic Surgeon.
