Bee Louise

Bee Louise is the owner and hair extension specialist at Bee Louise Hair. Licensed as a cosmetologist since 1985 and licensed in three states, Bee Louise has worked with hair extensions since the mid-1980s and has almost 40 years of experience as a stylist. After moving to New York City in May 1988, Bee Louise worked as a stylist at A.D. Barrett Salon, a hair extension salon and hair distributor, and taught about hair extensions at trade shows across the country in the early 1990s. Bee Louise first did Dome Monofibre extensions at Adai Productions in Pittsburgh.

Training began at the Vidal Sassoon School in London, followed by advanced courses from Trevor Sorbie, Paul Mitchell, Redken, Clairol and Dome Cosmetics. The work focuses on keratin bond extensions and tape-in installs, along with dry dreadlock maintenance using crochet or interlock and human hair dreadlock additions. Clients on a limited budget are welcome, and the approach is to lay out options at several price points and say plainly what hair is actually needed.
