About
Bayyinah is the owner-stylist of BChic with Bayyinah, working from a boutique suite in Union, New Jersey. She graduated from beauty school in 1991, the year after finishing high school, and obtained a cosmetology license afterward. Her training includes Dudley Cosmetology University of Advanced Training in North Carolina.
She has received training from stylists considered among the top in the country, and regularly attends classes and hair shows to keep up with changes in the industry. Her specialties are precision cutting, custom color, and restoring damaged hair.
That same year she founded The Successful Seasoned Stylist, a coaching program for salon professionals. She welcomes professional women, busy moms, and retirees.
