Barbie

Barbie is the owner of Vetiver Collective in Oakland, where she works as a hairstylist and as a certified massage therapist. She has been a licensed hairstylist since earning her cosmetology license in 2010, and she holds deva cut accreditation. Her hair work centers on no-fuss, wash-and-go styles. She completed further training at the Sassoon Academy in San Francisco.

On the massage side, she was certified as a massage therapist in 2017 after graduating with honors from the National Holistic Institute's 900-hour core program. She keeps studying massage and has trained at the Milne Institute and the Upledger Institute. Her massage specialties include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Thai, and Craniosacral massage.
