Barbara Vail, MD, FAAD

Barbara Vail is a board-certified dermatologist whose focus is medical dermatology, and she sees patients aged 10 and older. She has broad experience diagnosing and treating acne, rashes and skin cancer. She earned her medical degree at MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her internship and dermatology residency at Drexel University, where she served as Chief Resident. She also holds a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and practiced for several years before attending medical school. Her career includes both academic and community dermatology. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has been named a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor multiple times.
