Barbara Stoessler

Barbara Stoessler owns Visionary Hair and works there as a hair stylist and colorist. She has been a hair stylist for over 30 years, most of them in the East Brunswick area. Her career began on Long Island, at a salon with many talented stylists, where she trained with a hands-on approach alongside cutting, coloring and styling classes.

Her training includes working as an assistant to Vivienne Mackinder and studying under Nicholas French, assisting him at hair shows and in his classes. She was also one of five stylists selected to assist Sue Pemberton with online one-on-one color classes.

Continuing education is central to how she works, and over the last decade she has focused on learning from leading industry artists. She has also worked at New York Fashion Week. Clients have described her as an expert colorist, and several have been seeing her for more than 10 years.
