Barb

Barb is an injector with NP-C credentials and a long background in plastic surgery nursing. She started in 1985 as a nurse with plastic surgeon Dr. John Griffin, learning many facets of plastic surgery. Her work there included assisting in surgery, pre- and post-operative teaching and hospital rounds. Over time, injecting dermal fillers, and later Botox, became a major part of her nursing practice. She spent the past 14 years as an independent contractor teaching other practitioners facial rejuvenation. She has been a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses since 1985 and has served the society in several roles, including as president from 2003 to 2004. She holds the Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse and Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist certifications.
