Baljeet K. Purewal

Baljeet K. Purewal founded Fresh Face + Eye and is a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon, actively certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery, including ptosis repair for drooping eyelids, and in facial rejuvenation. She has treated women and men in North Jersey and New York City. Her training began with an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, which she started in 2003. She then completed a fellowship in Cosmetic Oculofacial Surgery under Dr. Stephen Bosniak and a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary under Dr. Robert DellaRocca. She participates in the ExpertInjector program for Botox, Belotero, Juvederm and Voluma XC. Her past positions include oculoplastics surgeon at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, St. Luke's Roosevelt Medical Center, the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She has published in textbooks and research studies on blepharoplasty and oculofacial rejuvenation, has lectured at local and national meetings, and has worked on a volunteer health mission in the Dominican Republic. She received the Faculty Honoree Teaching Award at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and was named a Top Beauty Doctor by New Beauty in 2020.
