Aysel K. Sanderson, M.D.

Dr. Sanderson founded the practice and works as a physician focused on non-surgical facial rejuvenation. She has more than 30 years of experience in facial aesthetics. Before concentrating on non-surgical work, she had an extensive career in surgical plastic surgery.

Her training includes a B.S. in Microbiology from Cornell University and an M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed a general surgery residency and served as chief resident at the University of Maryland Hospital, followed by a plastic surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia. She is a board-certified plastic surgeon, an active member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Her practice centers on Botox, dermal fillers and advanced skincare treatments. Earlier roles include Chief of Surgery at Overlake Hospital, President of the Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons, and Vice President of the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons. She received the Golden Hands Award for Excellence in Aesthetic Surgery in 1998, 2000 and 2003, was named One of the Best Physicians for Women's Health by Seattle Magazine in 2003, and received an Achievement in Science Award from the Assembly of Turkish American Associations.
