Atanu Biswas

Atanu Biswas is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Marietta Plastic Surgery and holds Diplomate status from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His path began with general surgery training at the University of Arizona, where he earned a master's in medical sciences and, during that general surgery residency, completed a research fellowship focused on bioengineered skin. He was then chosen for, and completed, a plastic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic Arizona. His medical degree comes from the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He treats the face, breast and body, and his specialty is Awake Liposuction. Before relocating to Georgia, he founded a plastic surgery practice in Phoenix, Arizona, which became one of the larger solo practices in the Phoenix valley. He has also been adjunct faculty at Mayo Clinic Arizona and has served on admissions councils for the University of Arizona Graduate Medical School, the University of Arizona General Surgery Residency Program, and the Mayo Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program. After nearly two decades in Arizona, he moved to Atlanta to join Marietta Plastic Surgery. According to the practice, he placed first for Cosmetic or Plastic Surgeon in Best of Cobb 2026. He was also introduced to listeners of the Lenz on Business podcast, hosted by Belinda Skelton, in April 2024.
