Arous

Arous founded Arous Studio and its Drycut Academy, and works as a stylist there. She trained under the late John Sahag, a dry-cut master, through an apprenticeship, and became lead educator for the Sahag Dry-Cut method in 2012.

She now teaches seminars and masterclasses across the United States, with students that include stylists and barbers from around the world. She has received repeated invitations to the International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javits Center. The team page describes her as considered the only remaining authority on the original Dry-Cut technique.

Her work centers on the dry cutting method and color. A 2017 fire took one of her businesses, and afterward she rebuilt the studio and academy under one roof. Many of her clients travel long distances to keep their cuts maintained.
