Aron Kressel, MD

Dr. Aron Kressel is a plastic surgeon with more than twenty years in practice, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He also holds board certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. For the past two decades he has led the plastic and hand surgery division at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City as its section chief. He also operates at Queens Hospital Center, where his work centers on breast reconstruction. He was previously on the medical staff of the NY Rangers NHL hockey team. His academic posts are Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College. His hospital affiliations include Mt. Sinai Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Metropolitan Hospital and Queens Hospital Center. His caseload covers trauma injuries, pediatric reconstruction such as cleft lip and palate, and adult oncological breast reconstruction. In March 2014 he joined a Project Hue medical mission in Hue, Vietnam, where he performed reconstructive procedures and taught local physicians at Hue University Hospital and Hue Central Hospital.
