Arman F. Karapetyan

Arman F. Karapetyan, MD, PhD, started LA Beauty Skin Center in 2012 and is its founder and medical director. He trained in medicine at YSMU, finishing with honors, then completed a dermatology residency and earned a PhD in dermatology from Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia. He later did further medical residency training in New York City. While at Pavlov State Medical University he held a professorship in dermatology, teaching both medical students and residents, and he was invited to become Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dermatology and Cosmetology in Russia. After relocating to the United States, he initially worked at a Beverly Hills surgical center that concentrated on weight loss and cosmetic medicine. He eventually earned board certification. He holds licenses to practice medicine in Europe and the U.S., and he has more than ten years of hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine. His practice centers on aesthetic medicine and cosmetic dermatology. He oversees the injectables team at the Glendale location, serves as medical director for the North Hollywood team, and leads the Pasadena medical spa. He is an internationally recognized expert in non-surgical facial enhancement and has many celebrity clients from around the world.
