Arlena Parker

Arlena Parker owns Holistic Glow Electrology & Wellness and works as an electrologist and lash artist. She began studying electrology at 17 and trained at Berkowits School of Electrology in Forest Hills, New York. After training she relocated to Los Angeles and continued her education there. She obtained a California Electrology License in the mid-2000s and is licensed in both California and New York. She has over 24 years of electrology experience.

Her lash career started in the mid-2000s, when she specialized exclusively in eyelash extensions and founded Beauty Boutique Lash & Beauty Experts. She is one of the first professionals in Los Angeles to focus only on lash extensions. Her lash clientele has included celebrities, stylists and professionals preparing for high-profile events, and she has used Xtreme Lashes products in her work. She later sold that business, moved into holistic coaching and wellness, and is relaunching her lash services under the umbrella of her current businesses.

Her electrolysis work centers on permanent hair removal, and she has worked with men and women dealing with excessive hair growth (hirsutism). She has educated fellow electrologists, has been featured on TV shows on TLC and E! Network, and has collaborated with plastic surgeons to demonstrate electrolysis compared with laser treatments. Her approach is grounded in integrity and effective treatment, and she does not want clients to lose time or money on slow, ineffective treatments.
