About
Ariel Ostad runs the practice as its physician and owner, seeing patients in New York City as a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. He trained at Harvard, NYU and UCLA. He has more than twenty years of dermatology experience and has injected Botox and filler for over 25 years.
His cosmetic focus is Botox and other minimally invasive treatments, alongside nonsurgical and surgical facial rejuvenation, including neck lift and eyelid surgery. The practice also offers Mohs surgery and reconstruction for skin cancer, laser and energy-based treatments, regenerative and injectable treatments, and body contouring. He was named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Dermatology for 17 consecutive years, from 2008 to 2025, and a New York Super Doctor for 11 consecutive years, from 2014 to 2025. He was also named a RealSelf Top Doctor, a place among New York Magazine's Best Doctors, and peer recognition in US News and World Report. NYU gave him its Surgical Attending of the Year award in 2004, 2009 and 2015, and NYU Grossman's dermatology residents named him Part-Time Attending of the Year in 2023. Allergan Aesthetics rates him a Top 1% BOTOX and Filler Injector in the US.
He is a contributing editor of the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and an associate editor of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, and he co-authored the book Practical Management of Skin Cancer with Dr. Ronald L. Moy. He serves as physician co-chair of the Skin Cancer Foundation's Champions for Change Gala, sits on the Foundation's Medical Council and NYU's Dean's Advisory Council, and is president of the NYU School of Medicine Alumni Association Board. He is listed as a media resource on dermatology, skin cancer, cosmetic procedures and laser technology.
