About
Apryl Picnia is an owner and stylist and a co-founder of Pure Hair Design, which she started in 2003 with Jenny Kisiel. She has been a prominent stylist in the Boston area for more than 35 years.
She trained abroad, with cutting and styling study in Paris and London. Her continuing education has included courses in Goldwell Color, Redken and Joico.
Her color work aims for a natural result, built through fine weaving and slicing, and she sometimes combines up to four shades. In her view, good hair should be easy to wash, wear and style, and should have movement.
