April Turner

April Turner owns D'Knotted and has worked as a massage therapist since 2007. She holds a Licensed Massage Bodyworks Therapist license (LMBT 7727), which she has held since December 2007. Her esthetics career began in June 2010, and she is a licensed esthetician. She trained through several classes that led to both licenses.

Her early practice took her to Raleigh and Fayetteville. In Fayetteville she worked alongside a medical massage therapist who taught her new techniques, and she later taught massage therapy at Miller-Motte College there. She also ran her own massage and esthetic business in Fayetteville. After returning to the Raleigh, Morrisville and Cary area, she spent a period working with a chiropractor.

Deep tissue and therapeutic massage are her specialties.
