Apolinar Tiongson

Apolinar Tiongson, M.D., founded SouthMain Rejuvenation Institute, an aesthetic medical practice. He opened his aesthetic medical private practice in 1999. In 2001 he created the APOLINAR skincare line. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University in Cebu City, Philippines, in 1990, followed by an internship in internal medicine in 1994 and a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology, with a focus on dermatopathology, completed in 1998. He holds a Diploma in Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology and board certification in aesthetic medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Additional aesthetic training followed his residency, and his continuing education centers on cosmetic dermatology and medical aesthetics. He has lectured and trained physicians, surgeons and nurses in skin rejuvenation, and he offers a preceptorship in aesthetic medicine for medical doctors. His practice areas include neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport; dermal fillers, among them Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, Artefill and Radiesse; chemical peels; medical lasers used for skin resurfacing and cosmetic enhancement; and treatment of acne and acne scars. He also provides hair removal and restoration, radiofrequency skin tightening, and management of cosmetic skin disorders. Since 1999 he has personally carried out more than 100,000 laser procedures, more than 10,000 neuromodulator injection treatments, and a few thousand facial volumization and augmentation injections.
