About
Antony (Tony) Trost is a registered nurse who holds BSN and RN credentials. He started his healthcare career in the PreOp and Recovery room setting, then worked in busy Detroit intensive care units caring for surgical, trauma, cardiothoracic, and transplant patients.
He later served at Gift of Life Michigan, first as an Organ Donation Coordinator and then as an Advanced Practice Coordinator. At the organization's surgical center he performed bedside procedures including liver biopsies and vascular access. He now works as an Organ Recovery Specialist at the Henry Ford Transplant Institute and as a Medical Science Liaison for Custodiol HTK.
His education includes an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Oakland Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan.
