Antonio Marino

Antonio Marino works as a stylist at APEX Hair + Color Studio. He started out in San Antonio in 2019, the year he got his license, then relocated to Austin in 2022. He opened APEX at Image Studios in 2023. He trained through the Schwarzkopf Professional educational program and earned its Ask Expert title in October 2025. Color is his main area: dimensional color, highlights and balayage, with corrective color for deep brunette, copper and light blonde tones. He also does precision layered cuts. He prefers clients who want ongoing work with one stylist over one-off visits. Each appointment opens with a careful review of what the client is asking for. He explains each step as it happens, including the products he uses, the look he is aiming for and what the result will involve. Questions are welcome, and clients are invited to take part in decisions. He hopes people leave feeling more at ease with the confidence they already bring to their appearance.
