Anthony Buglino

Dr. Anthony Buglino, D.O., is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing at Buglino Plastic Surgery in Woodbury, New York. He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, which is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, and served as chief resident during his final year. He then pursued a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, which is one of four programs of that kind.

During his general surgery training, he worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has also trained alongside surgeons at Jefferson University Hospital, Hahnemann Hospital, Westchester Hospital and New York Medical College, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and The Reading Hospital. He is one of a small number of DO plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the United States.

His surgical practice includes facial procedures such as facelifts and nose surgery, breast augmentation, breast reduction and lifts, and reconstruction after cancer surgery, as well as body contouring for healthy men and women. He also performs corrective procedures, including revisions of earlier cosmetic surgery, breast implant repair, laceration and scar repair, and pediatric laceration repair, along with reconstruction following burns and trauma. On the non-surgical side, he offers Botox, Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus, hyaluronic acid tear trough fillers, and other injectables to patients on Long Island. Many of these patients want a natural-looking result.

Special cases are seen one-to-one at the Woodbury office. Follow-up visits are generally scheduled weekly or as needed after treatment.
