About
Anna Mender founded Blue Iris Medical Aesthetics, where she serves as CEO and also practices as a nurse practitioner focused on wellness and aesthetics. Her clinical experience spans psychiatry, women's health, regenerative medicine and medical aesthetics. Her interest in aesthetics began in 2016, and that interest steered her toward the medical side of the field. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the City University of New York's College of Staten Island, then a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University. She holds an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from the Florida Board of Nursing, is nationally board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and holds aesthetics certification from the American Board of Procedural Medicine. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Her treatments include Botox, dermal fillers, biostimulators and other aesthetic procedures. Plans are built around each client's own goals, with the aim of natural, subtle outcomes. She encourages patients to ask questions so they understand every step of their treatment plan.
