Anna Bennett

Anna Bennett owns the practice and works as its massage therapist. She holds licenses as a Licensed Medical Massage Therapist and as a Licensed Massage Therapist with the Virginia Board of Nursing (license number ML #0019011191). She earned an MS in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Clinical Cardiac Rehab and Nutrition from Old Dominion University in 2000. Her training includes programs at Sunshine House, Vedic Institute and Thai Healing Massage Academy. She is a Certified Osteopathic Mobility Massage Therapist and a Registered Yoga Therapist (RYT1000). She also holds a hypnotherapy certification from IHeal Institute, Precision Nutrition Certification (PN1), and certifications as a life coach through LCS and as a personal trainer through ACSM, ACE, NSCA and AFAA. She is a CPR and First Aid Instructor. Her background includes physical therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings, Phase 2 cardiac rehab, sports medicine, pharmaceuticals, and fitness and wellness direction, including a past role as Director of Fitness and Wellness. Much of her practice centers on women managing injuries, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions and fatigue. Her approach centers on identifying the source of discomfort and adapting each session to the individual.
